He is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the founder of the firm. He holds a Master of Law (LL.M.) Degree in Commercial Laws from the University of Cambridge, UK. His specializations and major areas of practice include Civil, Commercial Litigation, Constitutional, Intellectual Property, Banking, Corporate Finance and Trade Remedial Laws. He has a wide-ranging experience in providing legal services to public and private sector clients including multinational organizations in the fields of litigation, legal documentation, research and consultancy. A large number of cases handled by him in the Superior Courts have been reported through judgments in various law journals of Pakistan.
Besides the numerous commercial corporations, he has rendered services to the Federal Government and the Government of the Punjab in Pakistan as a legal consultant in the fields of international trade and intellectual property. He was the Member of Pakistan’s Delegation at the Sixth Ministerial Conference of the WTO held at Hong Kong in December 2005. He has been the Chairman of the Sub-Working Expert Group of the Federal Government that prepared the 5-Year Plan on ‘Intellectual Property Law Regime of Pakistan’. He has also been the Vice-Chairman of the Intellectual Property Law Committee of Lahore High Court Bar Association.
He has taught commercial and international trade laws as an Adjunct Faculty (post-graduate level) at renowned academic institutions including the University of the Punjab. He is also a frequent speaker on the subject of commercial laws at different government institutions, as well as the various Chambers of Commerce and Industry. He is widely published in international and domestic law journals.
Muhammad Nashit holds a B.A. LL.B (Hons.) Degree from University of the Punjab. As an Advocate of the High Court he has been rendering legal services in various fields, particularly, civil, corporate and banking laws. His professional expertise lies both in litigation and soliciting. He has a vast experience in preparing and conducting cases before the High Courts, Civil Courts, Banking Courts, Service Tribunal, Intellectual Property Tribunal and District Courts. In the field of soliciting he is highly skilled in rendering legal opinions and vetting agreements related to banking and corporations, service and labour, contract, partnership, registration and tax.
He has been writing articles in the Lahore High Court Lahore magazine and journals addressing social, political and human rights issues. He has also worked in Aurat Foundation providing legal services to women and children. He has also represented Pakistan in Azerbaijan as its youth ambassador.
A graduate of the B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) program of the Punjab University Law College, and an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan, Sibtain brings a wealth of experience from different service sectors and an excellent understanding of corporate law. He was awarded the prestigious “Roll of Honor” by the University of the Punjab in recognition of his excellent record in academics and co-curricular activities. He has also represented Pakistan as its youth ambassador at the University of Oxford, the Munster University (Germany) and at Antalaya (Turkey). His expertise lies in litigation and he is a great asset when it comes to conducting cases before the High Courts, Civil Courts, Banking Courts, Service Tribunal, Intellectual Property Tribunal and District Courts.
Ansar Shahzad holds a LL.B. from Punjab University Law College, and a M.Phil. in Legal History from University of the Punjab. Ansar is an Advocate of the High Court and handles civil and commercial litigation matters. He regularly appears before various courts, tribunals, and authorities throughout Pakistan. He works as part of the firm’s corporate and commercial department. His practice cuts across several different areas including company, civil, banking, corporate, contracts, litigation, consultancy, and opinion drafting.
